The Pennsylvania Dermatology Physician Assistants (PDPA) society was created in April of 2005 to promote the professional and personal development of Physician Assistants who specialize, or have an interest in, the field of Dermatology. The PDPA promotes the physician/physician assistant team, allowing physician assistants to improve the healthcare of the people of Pennsylvania.
The purpose of the PDPA is to develop and sponsor continuing medical education programs, promote the academic and clinical training of physician assistants in dermatology, and serve as an information source for dermatologists, physician assistants, physician assistants students, and patients.
The mission of the PDPA is to enhance the health and well-being of the people within Pennsylvania through the representation and advancement of the dermatology physician assistant profession.
